Our beloved Mother and Grandmother, Virginia Wiedrich Stanton, passed peacefully on August 22nd 2024. Virginia is survived by two children, four grandchildren, three great grandchildren. Virginia grew up in the Pacific Northwest. In her earlier years, she enjoyed swimming and cooking for her loved ones. Towards the end of her life, she lived in Gresham Oregon with her dog Punky and two cats, beepboop and Batman. She’d visit with her son on weekends during football season to watch the games and see her grandchildren. She’d always come with snacks in tow for the kids. She loved to share treasured family recipes, a fan favorite was her Blue cheese dressing. You may find her studying her how-to fix it books because she loved to figure things out on her own. She loved her animals and her family fiercely. She will be missed and never forgotten. We will share her stories and memories, so that her spirit may live on in our lives. “But we remember now in love, your life from start to end, and we’re just glad we knew you as a mother and a friend” “For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s” Romans 14:7-8
