Before bringing the family's loved one into our care and arranging transport, we need both the family and you as the hospice worker to confirm that we are the funeral home of record.
We arrange a private cremation
We work with the family to arrange documents, permits for the cremation, and memorial or celebration of life plans and options.
We deliver their urn within a few days
We deliver the urn to the family within 7-10 days via local hand delivery, USPS, or the family can pick up their urn themselves.

We do work with county assistance programs and your assigned care specialist can walk you through those options when the time comes. We also provide monthly payment plans for 3 or 6 or 12 monthly payments. We'd be happy to assist you in any way. We provide flexibility to families in order to provide them with the most affordable price for our world class care. Payment is required and expected upon completion of the cremation authorization forms and statement of funeral goods and services.

We ask about weight to ensure that we have the appropriate number of staff for transport. Our priority is to safely bring your loved one into our care. Your best guess is sufficient and an over-estimation is preferable to an under-estimation. Depending on the crematory and the transport team there are additional charges if the weight of your loved one exceeds 200 lbs. Most of our facilities can accommodate upwards of 600 lbs individuals. Payment is required and expected upon completion of the cremation authorization forms and statement of funeral goods and services.
Depending on if the family is ready for us to dispatch our transfer team or not, we can accommodate unique family requests here, but on average our team will be ready to arrive at your home or hospice center within 1-2 hours. Our transfer team is very prompt and good about communicating our ETA to both you and the family so you know when we will be arriving to transfer your loved one into our care.

The complete process takes less than two weeks (usually much less). This includes taking your loved one into our care, gathering all required authorizations, the cremation and return of cremated remains via USPS. Note that the receipt of death certificates may take longer depending on how long it takes to receive certification from doctors. Unusual circumstances may extend this timeline.
Direct cremation means the body of your loved one is cremated in the days immediately following the death, without a viewing or funeral service beforehand. Direct cremations provide an affordable and timely alternative to traditional burials.
