The story of
On April 29, 2024 Virgil Lee Sidener, Jr., age 69, passed away in the night in his home in Denver, CO. He was also lovingly known as Virg, Lee, Daddy and Grandpa. Born to Thelma (deceased) and Virgil Sr. (deceased) in Denver, CO on November 10, 1954, he was raised with his brothers James (deceased), Delbert (deceased), and Rodney (survived) along with a sister, Glenda (deceased). In addition to his brother, he is also survived by one biological daughter, Anastasia, her daughters Lillian and Alice, and the symbolic sons he helped raise and influence, Max (grandson), Michael (nephew) as well as stepchildren and grandchildren. A proud Cooler Operator at Adolph Coors in Golden Colorado, he retired from his 35+ years there in 2014. When he wasn’t making beer, he liked to engage in several hobbies throughout his life: automotive repair, classic car collecting, woodworking, photography, award winning wine maker, and, as an avid Colorado outdoorsman, he enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing. Known for his dry sense of humor, quick wit, charm and charisma he will be truly missed by all. His memorial/celebration of life with refreshments will be held on May 25, 2024 at Five Star Residences at Dayton Place located at 1950 S. Dayton St., Denver, CO. 80247 9-11a. Condolences can be sent to Sidener Family c/o Anastasia Sidener 1447 S. Jasper St. Aurora, CO 80017.
