The story of
Tyson Ray Hernandez, 37, of American Fork, UT, passed away peacefully in his sleep surrounded by family after a hard fought battle with metastatic cancer. Tyson was born on June 21, 1986 to Ray Hernandez and Brenda Powell in American Fork, UT. Tyson started riding dirt bikes at the age of 4. Throughout the years he’s won numerous trophies and in 2016 became the owner of Wild West Series. Accomplishing many things throughout his life, his number one accomplishment is his son Talon, whom he got to share his love of motocross with. Tyson survived by his son Talon Hernandez, fiance Amber Miller, mother Brenda Zeeman Bourgeois, father and stepmom Ray and Leslie Hernandez, brothers: Jace Zeeman, Tanner Zeeman, Brendon Bourgeois, Justin Bourgeois, Ethan Hernandez, Stuart McCamey and sisters Crista Hernandez and Autumn Hernandez. Tyson is preceded in death and awaited at the Gates of Heaven, by his Dad Troy Glen Zeeman, brother Quinten Hernandez and many other family members and friends. The family wishes to acknowledge the prayers and support from many during his illness, as well as his caregivers from Premier Family Medical, Murray IHC, Huntsman Cancer Center, and Intermountain Hospice. A ride day will be held for Tyson at Jordan River OHV MX park on June 15th from 8am–2pm. A celebration of life for family and close friends will be held on June 21st, more info to follow. In lieu of flowers please donate to your local cancer or hospice center.
