Tommy Floyd Cooper, 79, of Loveland, Colorado, passed away on February 25, 2025. He was born on July 2, 1945, in Kingsburg, California.
Tom is survived by his devoted wife, Karol; his loving daughter, Karrie Carrizales; his son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Jessica Cooper; his daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Jason Barker; and his adored grandchildren, Logan, Ellie, Mikayla, Marina, and Ethan. He will be missed by many close friends and extended family who were touched by his warmth, humor, and genuine spirit.
To those who knew him, Tom was the friendly face you might’ve encountered at the grocery store or the person who struck up a conversation with you at the post office. He had a remarkable gift for connecting with others, finding common ground with anyone he met. Even if he didn’t remember your name, you were always “the person from King Soopers who liked to fish” or “the couple from California who remembered the old drive-in.” Tom had a unique way of making people feel special and heard.
While no formal memorial is planned at this time, we encourage you to honor his memory by following his example: strike up a conversation, find something in common, share a laugh, and brighten someone's day. We are incredibly grateful to all who took the time to engage with Tom and make him feel seen and appreciated.
We take comfort in knowing that Tom left a lasting impact through the connections he made, and we will forever cherish the memories we shared with him.
