The story of
Thomas, Tommy, Tommy D, Shomas, Little Tommy, Tommy Boy, Uncle Thomas, Little Big Brother, or by birth, Thomas David Vasquez. As his only sister, I mournfully inform you that at the youthful age of 35, my baby brother passed away on October 19, 2024. Although he passed away unexpectedly, he went peacefully in his home with his beloved and faithful dog TT, by his side. Thomas was strong, giving, smart, courageous, stubborn, goofy, blatantly honest, always willing to lend a hand, and if he loved you, you were loved with every bit of his being. He was musically and artistically talented. You’d often find him strumming one of his guitars or drawing a masterpiece of his own unique design. Remember Thomas as the person willing to give the shirt off of his own back to a stranger in need, as he once did. Or, sitting with a homeless person who was down on their luck, just to hear their story. We can honor him by living our lives by his example in those areas. By kissing our loved ones, hugging them tighter for a little longer, and truly taking time to sit and talk, uninterrupted, with one another. Thomas is preceded in death by his grandfather, Barry. He is survived by his grandmother, Myra; mother, Peggy; sister, Alma; nephew, Austin; uncle, Sean & aunt, Susan; and best doggy friend, TT. No services have been planned at this time. If you would like to make a donation to honor Thomas, please donate to Resilient Hearts Animal Shelter in Seattle WA, where he adopted his dog TT.
