Teresa Duerr, left us to be with the Lord after a short illness on August 12, 2024. She is survived by sons Robert (Laura) Duerr and Ted (Shelly) Duerr along with two grandchildren, Teddy (Amy) Duerr and Amber (Matt) Duerr. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren Brody, Haisley, Blaze, Elia, and Noah. She was preceded in death by her parents Vincent and Matilda Ragone, along with brothers Vincent, Eugenio, Angelo, and Edward. Teresa was born in Yonkers, NY to Vincent and Matilda Ragone who arrived in the US from Italy via Ellis Island. She was so very proud of her Italian heritage. Teresa worked in several industries but always enjoyed the "people" aspect of any job she held. She quickly made friends anywhere she went. She left New York in 1979 and moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado where she worked in retail and accounting businesses. She then spent many years traveling in her motorhome selling jewelry and wares to retailers across Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico creating lasting friendships along the way. Her proudest moments were talking about her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and granddogs (of which she had many) and was known as Nana with much adoration. A celebration of Teresa's life will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at the home of Robert and Laura Duerr, 7800 Lee St., Arvada, CO beginning at 1pm.
