Stephan Joseph Emory, 64, was born Wednesday, September 23, 1959 to Earl Emory and Margaret (Winn) Emory in Somers Point, Atlantic County, NJ. He departed this life Tuesday, April 9, 2024 in San Bernardino County, CA Stephan graduated from Absegami High School, Mays Landing, NJ in June 1977. He loved going to the movies and for a few summers worked as an actor at the Brigantine Castle in NJ. Stephan relocated to Oakland, CA in 1979, later moving to the Los Angeles, CA area. Stephan has always had a love for animals, especially cats, and would go out of his way to ensure their well being. He was the proud owner of eight cats and 4 dogs. Stephan is predeceased by his parents, Earl Emory and Margaret Carter; his brothers Earl Emory, Rodney Emory and Aaron Carter. He leaves to cherish his memories his partner Greg Everts, Crestline, CA; four sisters Yolanda (Phil) Rine, Norfolk, VA, Stephanie (Robert) Preston, Absecon, NJ, Kimberly Emory, Statesville, NC and Courtney Carter, Lanham, MD; four brothers Andrew Emory, Egg Harbour Twp., NJ, Tajermaine (Charylene) Sharrieff, Mizpah, NJ, Victor Emory, Pleasantville, NJ and Anthony Emory, Atlantic City, NJ and his aunt, Robetta Mack, Berkley, CA. He also leaves numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and special friends Doni Lestric, Hugh Held, Thom Volk and Dan Brown. Stephan's family and many friends will miss his infectious smile and his gregarious personality.
