The story of Sherman
A Life's Testimany Sherman Lyons, 76, transitioned from his earthly home Monday, August 5th, 2023. He was born as the youngest of two on May 12, 1947, in Pineville, LA to Ruby Lee Harrison and Edgar Lyons. He was baptized at an early age and was truly an outgoing, funny, and joyous person that lived his life to the fullest. He will be dearly missed by all that has known him. Sherman is now reunited with his wife of 50 years, Connie Lyons, his sister Gloria, and his parents, Ruby and Edgar. He left on earth four loving children, Shalonda, Sherman, Percy, and Preston. He also left with many many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who loved him deeply. This is not all for he is in a better place. He has gone where the eary shall be at rest and there shall be no more pain or sorrow. Day by day... we too are transitioning. Let us rejoice to know that Sherman is in a better place and we will see him again. God has spoken. Revelation 21:4 "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Romans 8:18 Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later.
