The story of Shalanda
Shalanda (Shea) 36, passed away unexpectedly on April 11, 2023 in Lakewood, CO. Shea was born in Santa Cruz, CA on January 15, 1987, to Neisha McCulley and Jimmy Bruce. They relocated to Tucson, AZ, shortly after. where her maternal grandparents, Jean and Kathryn Arcuby, adopted her. Shea went to High School in Grand Junction and Fruita, CO. She was an accomplished fluteist and violinist while in school. Shea moved to Denver shortly after her 18th birthday. In 2017 she met the love of her life, Nathan Redmond. They later married. Shea loved to read and listen to music. She had a wonderful, quirky sense of humor, Her infectious laugh will echo forever in our hearts. Shea had a heart of gold, and would help anyone in need, no matter how little she had to share. Which included being an organ donor, saving 3 lives with her donations. Shea was preceeded in death by her bio Mom, Neisha McCulley, and her maternal great grandmother, Patricia Ouret. She is survived by her husband, Nathan of Denver, CO. her parents, Jean and Kathryn Arcuby, Corona de Tucson, AZ, her sister, Richelle Aquino (William), Vail. Az, nephew, Blake Aquino, Vail. AZ, sister, Shaundra Britton (Matt), Green River, WY, Aunt, Tina McCulley, Billings, MT, as well as three nieces and nephews. Shalanda's passing has left an enormous void in our family. She is missed terribly.
