The story of
On the morning of September 10, 2023 Ronald Jay Cothran, aged 71, left us to be with our Lord. He was born to Bruce and Mildred Cothran on July 24, 1952 here in Denver, Colorado. Growing up in Denver he was involved with the Boy Scouts as he grew up he played basketball with the neighbors. His hobbies include painting, writing poetry, bowling, fishing and hunting. After he graduated from High School he enlisted into the Army repairing aircrafts. He loved to drive so he made that his career driving for others. After retiring from driving, he went to work for Lowe's watering all the plants in the Garden Center. Ron is preceded in death by both of his parents Bruce and Mildred Cothran, a brother James Cothran. He is survived by his wife Jo E. Riesenman Cothran, two daughters, Lisa M. And Jessica L. Cothran two grandchildren, Aiyanna Cothran, Francisco A. Contreras Jr. And was excited waiting on his second grandson. He is survived by a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, and his brother Richard H. Cothran. A public memorial service will be held September 30, 2023 from 1 pm to 5 pm at Gracia Divina 3431 W. Alameda Ave, Denver, Colorado 80219. Refreshments will be served. His burial will be at Ft. Logan Cemetery on October 5, 2023 at 2 pm - 4400 W. Kenyon Ave., Denver, Colorado 80236 If you would like to make a donation in Ronald Cothran name, please do so to any charity of your choice.
