The story of
January 27, 1940 – October 7, 2024 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert Frazier Gadson, 84, on October 7, 2024, in Tucson, Arizona. Born on January 27, 1940, in Winter Park, Florida, Robert lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication to the people and passions that shaped his journey. Robert proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, embodying honor and commitment. A man of many interests, he found joy on the golf course, cheering on his beloved University of Arizona Wildcats, and rooting for the Los Angeles Dodgers with unwavering loyalty. Robert was also a long-time and cherished member of the Breau Brummell social club, where he cultivated lifelong friendships and shared countless memorable moments. Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Leola Parker; John Brookings; his father, Oscar Gadson; his brothers, Leon, Jan, and Punchy; and his sister, Linda. He is survived by his loving wife, Dee; his daughter, Monique; his son, Jermaine (Nye); and his cherished grandchildren, Auri, Alexa, and Jai. He also leaves behind his brother, Ronald Gadson (Mary); his sister, Marva Carter (West); and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family members. The immediate family held a private celebration of Robert’s life to honor his memory.
