Robert Andrew Jansen, born on September 23, 1998, in Mt. Vernon, Washington, passed away on May 16, 2024, in Seattle, Washington, at the young age of 25. He left this world after a valiant battle with sickness, surrounded by his loved ones.
Robert, lovingly known as Andy, was the cherished son of Jill Dale Jansen and Daniel Elliot Jansen. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Theodore Lane Jansen, grandfather Robert McClain, grandmother Kay McClain, and father Daniel Elliot Jansen. Andy is survived by his devoted mother Jill Dale Jansen, brothers Russell Lewis, Victor E. Lane, Ryan Baker, sister Tamara Miles, and spouses Amanda Jansen, Elliot Miles, and Karli Fritz.
Andy's life was filled with love and laughter, touched by the presence of his close friends whom he considered family. Cameron Johnson, Lucas Schell, Braden Wiedmann, Marqus Holmes, Sheldon Koning, and many more shared special moments with him, making his life richer.
He graduated from Stanwood High School in 2017 and embarked on a journey of employment, starting with odd jobs in his teens and eventually finding his place at AMT in Arlington from 2017 to 2023. Most recently, he had begun working at Amazon in Marysville before his untimely passing.
Andy dedicated his adult life to being with his friends, whether watching movies, gaming on the PC, or just enjoying each other's company. He shared a passion for arts in media, from music to movies, television shows, podcasts, and books. His enthusiasm for sharing his favorite films, including works by Wes Anderson, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Quentin Tarantino, was infectious, leaving a lasting impression on those around him.
A vibrant and caring soul, Andy was known for his kindness, infectious laughter, and empathetic nature. He touched the lives of many with his wholesome spirit and unwavering love for his family and friends.
Though he may no longer be with us physically, his spirit lives on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. Andy will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his love, kindness, and laughter that brightened the lives of those around him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
A celebration of Andy's life will be held at his mother's home on Camano on June 8, 2024, at 1:00 PM. Please join his family and friends as we come together to honor his memory, sharing BBQ and reminiscing about the beautiful moments shared with Andy.
