Richard, (Richie Blue), was a loving friend, father, husband, and gifted musician, and composer of songs. He loved Elvis Presley from the first time he heard his music. He held the old Blues Masters in very high regard and played a mean blues harp (harmonica). He played mostly rhythm guitar and was “front man” for the band. There were many bands but all made up of his old friend and family members.
He surfed-riding the crest of a wave until it gave and did back flips on the beach.
He had the Bluest! eyes you’ve ever seen and charmed all the girls with his dancing and singing.
He loved his son, Even if he did always show it.
He loved animals, especially his dogs, Blue Misty Shade and Blue Eyed Buck of Newport.
Sometimes he loved me too.
He is survived by son, David Evans, (Carol), granddaughter, Holly, ex wife Earlene Whitehead (Les), and ex wife Sandy-ra Waters.
