Rebecca (Becky) Wilson, age 74, was born in 1949 in Canton, OH and passed away August 1, 2024 in Tucson AZ, where she resided for 53 years. She had suffered from several strokes in the last two years. Becky worked in The Herbarium at The University of Arizona, identifying plants from around the world. She was a teacher who started the Mentors for Moms program that paired University mentors with unwed mothers and pregnant teens to get their GED, a special love of hers. She loved singing in The Tucson Women's Chorus for many years. Becky was a member of St. Francis in the Foothills, where she met many kind-hearted friends, some who visited her weekly in her Assisted Living Homes and helped with any needed task. Becky was preceded in death by her father Don, mother Shirley, brother Bruce, grandson Robert and niece Rachel. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Julia Eiber, sisters Diane Judson and Laura Zilko, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephew.
