Phyllis J Wilson, age 90, went to be with the Lord August 29, 2024. She passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love and dedication. She is preceeded in death by her father Lynden Bowden, mother Thelma Bowden, sister Lynda Pike and grandson Edward Wilson. She moved to Phoenix from Decatur, Illinois in 1947 with her family. Phyllis is remembered for her remarkable 31-year career as a teacher in the Isaac School District, where she profoundly impacted her students and community. She is survived in death by her children, Lee Wilson (Denise Wilson), David Wilson (Shelley Wilson), Audie Wilson and Cindy Schmidt (Steve Mcnally), seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Phyllis' nurturing spirit and commitment to education will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
