Nita Marie Norton, a strong and nurturing woman, left us too soon at the age of 54 on August 29th, 2024. Born on December 30th, 1969, Nita was loved and cherished by her parents Juanita and John Norton. She is survived by her two daughters Elyse and Kelly, her son Jeffrey, her granddaughter Freya, and her grandson to be. Her departure leaves an empty space in their hearts, but the fond memories of time well spent bring both joy and peace. Nita worked in healthcare where her light shown onto the lives of others. She was an Arizona native who loved the desert, tacos, rock n’ roll, and classic black and white films. Never was there a dull moment with her in the room. Nita’s greatest joy in life was her children. She was happiest when in their company and everybody around her knew that. In remembrance of Nita, a tribute fund by the name of “Honoring Nita Marie Norton, A Tribute Fund” has been created. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Nita may contribute. Your donations will be a testament to Nita and the mark she left on those lucky enough to know her.
