The story of
Nannette Marie Troutman passed away peacefully on May 24th, 2024 in Portland, Oregon. She was born to Doris Darlene Weisz and LeRoy Edwin Radke in Baldwin Park, California on September 30th, 1952. Always wishing for a life in movies, she began a career in the entertainment industry in the early 80's, and by the end of the decade, had become one of the most successful talent agents in the Pacific Northwest. Following a nearly two decade run of owning and operating an agency, she shifted her focus and launched a new career as a casting director. It was in this field that she cemented her status as one of the most influential figures in her industry, and to this day, is still celebrated by many. Outside of work, her passions involved traveling abroad, spending time with her family and friends, and keeping up with all the latest movies and shows. One of the things she loved most was volunteering at her church and spending time with all the babies in the nursery. She loved to read, and was always happiest sitting in the sun on a warm day. She is survived by her son, Dennis Troutman; her mother, Doris; her siblings, Nina, Thresa, Jim, Ron, Brent; as well as many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at 9:00am on Thursday, June 13th, 2024 at River West Church, 2000 Country Club Rd., Lake Oswego, OR 97034.
