The story of
Mark Smith was born on September 17, 1954 at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver Colorado to Everett and Catherine Smith. Mark Graduated from St. Francis De Sales Catholic School and continued his education at Regis University. He later received an associate degree from Pima Medical School in Ophthalmologic Technology in 2010. Mark worked for Storage Technology and the Public Service Company as a Computer Operator and continued his career as an Antique Dealer and business owner of Vintage Annie Antiques. As a young adult, Mark spent time traveling Europe and enjoyed spending time with close friends, and family. In his later years, he enjoyed hobbies such as woodworking, fishing and reading. Mark met LeeAnn while working at Storage Technology in 1981 and the two married in 1985. They raised two Daughters and enjoyed three Grandchildren. Mark passed away peacefully on Monday, August 12, 2024 surrounded by family. Mark F. Smith is survived by his wife LeeAnn Smith, two Stepchildren, Jessica McCrery (Matt); Jennifer Andrews-Kamish (Travis); his Grandchildren, Caitlyn Coffey (Cameron), Carrie Richardson (Jay Myers), and Jaiden Andrews; his Siblings Therese Hester (Randy), Paul Smith (Katie), and Michael Smith; Predeceased by his parents, Everett and Catherine Smith, and Sibling Joseph Smith. Your kind gentle soul will live on forever in our hearts. We love you Papa! A Celebration of Life will be held for Mark on Saturday, September 21, 2024, 12 - 3 pm at Ken Caryl Ranch Bradford Room, 7676 S. Continental Divide Rd. Littleton, CO 80127
