The story of
Marilyn Lorine Uhl (Deyoe) passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Sept 3, 2024. She grew up in Dodge City, Kansas and spent her life sharing her love of teaching with children in Goddard, Buhler and Great Bend, Kansas. Marilyn was able to raise her girls on the farm in Comanche County and after having her son, soon moved to Mesa, Arizona in 1990. She began teaching for Mesa Public Schools and then retired from teaching after 32 years. She loved to travel and was never afraid of a little adventure. She was married to Cal (Calvin) Uhl for 50 wonderful years and raised 3 great children. She was proud of them all. She is survived by her husband, 3 children: Aryn M Peppin of Chandler, Alana L Uhl and Aric M Uhl both of Mesa and 1 grandchild Elyssia J Peppin, her brother Fred P Deyoe and sisters Jeannie and Sharla Deyoe.
