The story of Lynn
Lynn Ellen Thompson, 60, peacefully took her final breath on January 5, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. The Thompson family welcomed Lynn on October 4, 1962, where she became the brightest thing about Columbus, OH. At a young age, she moved to sunny Scottsdale, AZ with her parents and two older sisters. Lynn built lifelong relationships and lived a full and warm life filled with travel, love, jokes, and laughter. Lynn loved to listen to jazz music, visit new cities, explore new places, and had a knack for all things trivia. But above all, Lynn spent years bickering with her children over the Michigan-Ohio State football rivalry. Despite her love for the Ohio State Buckeyes, her children loved her dearly. She will be fondly remembered and sorely missed by those who loved her. Lynn is preceded in death by her parents, Jimmie Lee and Donna Faye Thompson. She is survived by her long-time love, David Turner; her children, Bryce McKindles, Devin (Jennifer) McKindles, Meghan (Ryan) Barela, and Olivia Zanzucchi; her six grandchildren; her sisters Cheryl (Rick) Dow and Angela (Jim) McClain; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. A celebration of Lynn’s life will be held at Feeny’s Restaurant and Bar 6314 N 12th St. Phoenix, AZ 85014 on February 18, 2023, from 12 pm - 3 pm.
