Laura Marie Rodriguez of Mesa, Arizona passed away peacefully on August 02, 2023, she was 58 years old. Born October 06, 1964 in Rosewell, New Mexico to Edward and Carol (Schunek) Wright. In 1967 she moved to Arizona with her family and made it her lifelong home. Laura was an employee of Safeway, retiring after 25 years of service. In her retirement years, Laura volunteered her time to LordanARTS. An organization dedicated to finding missing people. She enjoyed surprising friends with crocheted items. But her greatest joy was her beloved and faithful fur baby, Anubis. Laura was predeceased by her parents, sister Sharon Draper and niece Spring Melissa Wright. She will be greatly missed by her siblings Michael Wright, Deanna Carnahan and Lisa Sommerhalder. She also leaves behind 7 nieces/nephews, 15 great-nieces/nephews and many, many friends. In keeping with Laura’s wishes, no services will be held. Those who wish to honor her can donate to their charity of choice in her name. In the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years.
