Karrington Evett Robinson received her wings on February 5, 2025, at the age of 35, after a courageous battle with CLL and Lymphoma.
Born on December 18, 1989, Karrington was the first child of Kemberlyn Chaney and Kenneth Robinson. She was later blessed with a third parent, Loretta Chaney, who loved her deeply. With the unwavering support of her family, Karrington graduated from Citrus High School and attended Chaffey Community College in her hometown of Fontana, California.
From a young age, Karrington had a magnetic personality. She made friends effortlessly and was a natural athlete, excelling in every sport she tried. As a goalie on the varsity soccer team, her athleticism shone through, but her talents didn't end on the field. Off the field, she had a passion for styling hair and makeup, listening to rap, r&b and neo-soul music, watching scary movies, and singing in the shower. She was hilarious, and clever. Her quick witted jokes would keep everyone laughing, even on the toughest days.
During her college years, Karrington studied psychology, a field she later used to help others. Whether working as a caretaker for individuals with developmental delays or assisting clients and customers in her banking career, she always made sure others felt at ease and cared for.
Karrington's most cherished role was being an auntie to her seven nieces and nephews: Kaelin, Ka'morah, Xavian, Julian, Mason, Carter, and Cammeron. She was deeply devoted to them, and they brought her immense joy.
She is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth; her uncle, Steve; and her little brother, Robert Young Jr. We take comfort in knowing they have welcomed her with love.
Karrington is survived by her mothers, Kem and Loretta; her siblings, Krystchen, Khassidy, Amma, Ryan, Jordan, Kentrell, Joseph, and Brandon; and her grandmother, Constance. Her Aunt and Uncle; Kev and Aaron, along with a host of Cousins.
We will miss her eternally.
