Karen Lee Cooksey, beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 6th, 2024. Her warmth, kindness, humor, and unwavering love touched the lives of so many. A service to honor Karen's life will be held at St. Francis Episcopal Church (345 Piney Point Rd, Houston, TX 77024) in Houston on August 31, 2024, at 2:00 PM. Karen is survived by her devoted husband, Malcolm Gray, her parents Jim and Leiselle Sadler, and her cherished children: Benjamin, Stephanie, Sydney, and Wellington Cooksey. Her family and friends will remember her for her fun and kind spirit, boundless excitement for life, and her steadfast dedication to those she loved. A reception and celebration of Karen’s life will be held directly after the service in the church parish hall for friends and family.
