In the early afternoon of January 17, 2025, Karen Ann Stump, 71, passed away at home. Karen was born in Canton, OH on August 13, 1953, to Wallace and Vivian Harter (Lindeman). She worked at the Timken Company for over 20 years, and moved to Glendale, AZ in 2002 shortly after her retirement. Karen was known for her generosity and her need to take care of everyone around her. She was also known for her ability to say whatever she wanted, whenever she wanted, and get away with it. She loved camping and outdoor activities, cabins in the woods, slot machines, trips to Atlantic City, crochet, rom-coms, and the color teal/turquoise. She collected dreamcatchers, and even learned to crochet them herself. She also collected wind chimes, amassing an untold number of them in every shape, size, and color. Karen was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings; Raymond Harter, Alan Harter, Sandra (Joan) Clark Harter, Pamela McGuffin, and Laura Harter. She is survived by her children Carrie (Daniel) Weiner, and Jonathan Pinis, her sister Lynn Harter Beckman, and her grandchildren Paige Klett and Elissa Pinis. No services are planned at this time, but may be announced by the family at a later date. Her family invites you to leave your best memories of her here for everyone to share in the honor of her memory.
