The story of
Justin Paul Conley passed away peacefully in his home holding his mom’s hand on July 18, 2024 at 12:20 am. After a difficult two year battle against a very rare and aggressive type of kidney cancer, he is no longer trapped by his body and is resting peacefully and freely. He leaves behind his wife, Isabel who he met in 2008 as a friend and roommate in Southern California, his son, Julian (3), and daughter, Solei (1.5). Justin was a loving and dedicated husband, father, son, brother, friend and more. Justin’s dream in life was to become a father and he was a great one. He loved and adored his kids and was grateful and cherished every moment he had with them. He was loved by many and his reach was wide. He was a fun and adventurous person who loved travel and experiencing different cultures. He loved music especially electronic music, 90s hip-hop and R&B, all kinds of rock from classic rock to indie to punk rock and loved live music events. He had a great sense of humor and was a man of many (random) talents. He was the kind of person who was good at everything—athletic, creative, fun, adventurous, confident. He loved the outdoors including camping, fishing, hiking, backpacking, stargazing, or just hanging out near a body of water. He was a jokester and a trouble-maker as a young person being nicknamed “Diablito” by his maternal grandparents. He was so loveable and charming and when you first met him, you couldn’t help but to love him and feel comfortable with him. Hence why he was voted “Simply Irresistible” as his high school superlative. A title that was completely suiting to him in his high school/college days, but as he entered his mid-twenties and thirties, it was one that somewhat embarrassed him as he became a person who avoided too much attention or spotlight. He learned to love and appreciate the simple joys in life—being with family and creating beautiful memories with those that he loved the most. He was a protector of his family and he always put his loved ones above all else. He will be deeply missed and appreciated by many for the fun times and loving moments he gifted us all. May he rest peacefully with his dad, mom-in-law, grandparents and other loved ones who greeted him at the pearly gates when he made his transition.
