It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Juan D. Rodriguez, who left this world on March 29, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on October 25, 1946, Juan lived a life marked by service, dedication, and love for his family and community.
Juan proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, where he rose to the rank of Sergeant. His commitment to his country was a testament to his character, and he carried the values of honor and bravery throughout his life. After his military service, Juan transitioned into a fulfilling career as a technician with AT&T, where he dedicated many years to serving the Downtown Los Angeles area. His work was not just a job; it was a way for him to connect with the community he cherished.
Juan was the beloved son of Juan M. Rodriguez and Emma Rodriguez, who instilled in him the importance of family and hard work. “Tio Juan” is survived by his loving siblings, Emmanuel Rodriguez and Amalia Rodriguez, and a large contingent of nieces and nephews who will forever hold dear the memories of their time together. Juan's warmth, humor, and unwavering support will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
A devoted family man, Juan took great pride in nurturing relationships with his loved ones. Though a man of few words, he was known for his kindness, his ability to listen, and his sense of humor. Whether sharing stories of projects he was working on, discussing the latest sports news, or simply enjoying a meal with family, Juan's presence was a source of comfort and joy.
As we remember Juan, we celebrate a life well-lived—a life dedicated to service, family, and community. His legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.
Tio Juan will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
