The story of
Jerry Lynn Nearn passes away on March 18, 2024 at Honor Health Osborn Hospital. He was a very active person who enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and different activities. Jerry is survived by his wife, Erika, his children Wayne (son) and Chrystal (daughter) stepchildren Lindsey (Grayson), Leah (Jacob) and grandchildren Kashton, Winston, Lilly, Aylin, Maisie, and Kyna. A memorial service will be held at Old Union Community Church at 2pm on May 4, 2024. There will be food provided for the family after the service. The address is 1115 Baucham Road Waynesboro, TN. Jerry was born in Collierville Tennessee, and this is where he lived into his early 20's. At this time, he moved to Cherokee Alabama. Jerry worked many different jobs from construction, farm hand, train car welder, and electrical technician. It was while living in Cherokee that he met his wife, Erika. Jerry was very active in life from his love of fishing, gaming, electrical work and tinkering with different things. He always had a smile and was always early for everything. Jerry treated his wife like a queen and spent as much time with his family as he could. Jerry was proceeded in death by his father, James Nearn, his mother, Patsy Baldwin, and his son, Michael Nearn For those who would like to donate: please donate to St. Jude Hospital as this was a charity close to his heart.
