Irene passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 in Parker, CO. Irene was born in Brooklyn, New York on January 4, 1942, and was a loving mother, loyal best friend, and was proud of her career achievements over 45 years as an administrative professional. Irene was preceded in death by her mother and father, Harold and Gladys Olsen, her brothers Harold Olsen Jr. and Paul Olsen, her sister Ruth (Olsen) Brennan, and her husband Patrick Van Cleave. Irene is survived by her son Christopher Aderhold, her daughter Wendie (Aderhold) Thompson, stepdaughter Irene Lea Van Cleave, and stepsons Michael Van Cleave, Mark Van Cleave and Mitch Van Cleave.
