The story of
Gerald P. Wennberg (Gerry) passed away peacefully on November 18, 2024 in Denver, Colorado. Gerry was born January 1947 in Denver. He graduated from George Washington High School and Colorado State University. He met his wife, Chris, in the halls of GW in 1964 and they were married January 1970. Gerry enjoyed listening to music and sharing his love of music with his family and his many friends. He was an avid fan of Denver sports teams, especially the Broncos and the CSU Rams. He found joy in his 2 small dogs (Great Danes) and his 8 Irish Wolfhounds. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacqueline and Martin Wennberg. He is survived by his wife Chris, brother Rick (Ann), brother-in-law Mike Schleich, sister-in-law Kathy Schleich, Children - Jeff (Heather) and Craig, Granddaughters - Emma, Caroline, Grandsons -Clayton, Cameron, Tucker, Max and Knox as well as many nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, November 26th at Wings over the Rockies, Lowry, Room, 7711 E. Academy Blvd, Denver, CO 80230. Chris asks that we honor Gerry by wearing your favorite team jersey, or a tee shirt from your favorite music group or concert or your favorite color. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice.
