Obituary - Elijah Lafourche Roy Elijah Lafourche Roy was born on July 3, 2001, to Brian Gene Roy and Monique Lafourche Delaney, in the city of Rancho Mirage, CA. He was raised in a small town known as Yucca Valley with his father Brian and his siblings Noah, Jordon and Sariah. Elijah developed his deepest passions and aspirations here. He desired to become a great basketball player, which he worked diligently at every day. He pursued his passions with relentless determination and discipline. Elijah also loved the Marvel and DC Universes (comics,movies), drawing/writing and, of course, his family. Though generally an introvert, he would willingly debate with anyone, especially his brothers, on topics such as The Hulk vs Superman, or science vs religion. This wouldn’t always end in sunshine and rainbows with Elijah standing on his beliefs. Rest assured that just because he is not here physically, does not mean he is gone spiritually. We are here today to honor his life, not his death. He will forever live in the hearts and imaginations of his loved ones.
