The story of
Edward Jesse Wright, 91, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2024 during his residency at Manor on Monaco in Denver, Colorado.   Born October 6,1932 in Denver, Colorado, he was the eldest son of the late, Melba Bass (Hamlet) and John Henry Wright.   Edward, a Korean War veteran of the United States Army, was later employed as a truck driver where he retired as a proud Teamster working with Yellow Freight, after 26 years. Ed enjoyed driving big rigs and was proud of the fact of being self taught. His enthusiasm with cars continued throughout his life with an affinity toward “Ford” products. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and bike riding in his younger years!   He fathered three children daughters, Zarlita Wright (Frank Taylor) of Dallas, Tx., Zoni Wright of Denver, Co., son Terrell Wright of Aurora, Co., with then wife Shirley Barnes. In addition to his three children, he is also survived by his sweetheart of 46 years, Clara Louise Daley of Denver, Co. and granddaughters, Jaz Howard, Mia Wells (Damien), and Tierra Wright all in Denver, Colorado and a host of great grandchildren!  Edward Wright was preceded in death by his younger brother, Jess E. DuBois just a year earlier. No services will be planned.
