"Debi" was born in New York City and worked in Florida before moving to Colorado to be closer to family. She had a degree in Accounting and worked as a bookkeeper for more than 20 years. She loved horses and was an accomplished equestrian. In her youth, she competed in horse shows, dressage, and events with her favorite Thoroughbred, No Factor. Debi is survived by her sister, Elyse Brunnemer, brother-in-law Kurt Brunnemer, nieces Valerie Van Hook and Meghan Brunnemer, and nephew Kevin Brunnemer. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Carol Gorbea.
