The story of
Deanna Shake December 12, 1941 - September 24, 2024 Dee passed away peacefully in Salt Lake City, Utah on September 24, 2024. She was born in Tucson, Arizona to Dave and Dorothy Rowland and moved with her family to Manitou Springs, Colorado until she graduated high school. She later moved to Laramie, Wyoming and married Francis Shake on May 1, 1964. They were married for 49 years before his death in 2013. She is preceded in death by husband Francis, daughter LeeAnne and granddaughter Trisha. She is survived by daughter Debbie Johnson, son and daughter-in-law David and Tiffany Shake, son-in-law Gene Hundt, as well as five grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Dee worked for many years as a dispatcher for the Laramie Police Department and then later for the University of Wyoming. She and her husband lived in Laramie from the time they married in 1964 until they moved to Sierra Vista, Arizona in 1987 and later to Prescott, Arizona in 1998. Dee was a wonderful wife, loving mother and grandmother and friend to everyone. She had a caring and giving heart and a happy spirit. She always had a smile to give and an encouraging word to say and made life for those around her a little bit better.
