The story of
David Bruce Kinser, age 62, of Peoria, AZ passed away at Banner University Hospital in Phoenix,AZ on Wednesday, February 21, 2024. He was born March 28, 1961 in San Bernadino, California to parents Wiley (Dean) and Melva (Elaine) (Smith)Kinser. David's love for music started at a very young age. He sang and performed in high school and also played football. David went to Northeastern University in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he studied vocal performance/opera. David performed and sang with the Renaissance Singers for 15 years. He also sang with various church choirs. His love for music carried him throughout his life. David sang with many of the Billy Graham crusade choirs through the years. He also worked as a vocal coach for the group "up with people" during that time. He also sang many years with “the madrigals” in AZ and sang multiple times at the annual governors ball. David worked for the State of Arizona for about 25 years. He retired from the Department of Child Safety in October 2021. David also was donor to the Donor Network of Arizona. He is survived by his wife Sharon. His brothers Timothy and Peter (Deb) Kinser. His sisters Bonnie (Walter) Beamon and Laurie Johnson. Stepson Bill Wilburn and grandson Jaxon. Stepdaughter Keely Kacsanek and granddaughter Harper. Nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces. He is preceeded in death by his parents, nephew Christopher and stepson Josh. There will be a Memorial Service on Friday, April 26, at 11:00am at First United Methodist Church, 5510 N. Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85012.
