The story of
Daniel Eugene Deeter (71) of Mesa, Arizona, passed away peacefully from the progression of Parkinson's and dementia on April 28, 2024. He was born May 19, 1952, in Meadville, Pennsylvania to his parents Robert Deeter and his wife Margaret (Peggy) Deeter. In his childhood, he often talked about his favorite trip across the country with his father whom he missed dearly. Along with growing up with his siblings and mother Margaret. In his younger years he enjoyed riding motorcycles, camping and prospecting. Before retirement he was an engineer then later in life, a refrigeration technician. He was a talented silversmith, and artist. He enjoyed the Southwest, golf, and his family. He was a selfless, quiet man that kept to himself. When he did have something to say he sure knew how to make people laugh. He wasn't a religious man by any means, but he led by example, treating everyone with kindness no matter what and always doing the right thing no matter the cost. He instilled these virtues to his son and granddaughter. After he retired, Dan loved to kick back and relax in his lazy boy chair watching the History channel or golf. When he wasn't relaxing, he enjoyed spending time with his loving wife (Carolyn) whom he was madly in love with. Some may say it was a love of the ages. Dan is survived by his wife, Carolyn, and his son, Wayne and wife and two grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister and her partner, and his brother. Dan was predeceased by his parents, Margaret and Robert.
