The story of
On the evening of August 18th, 2024 at 8:11pm, Corazon G. Williams, aged 88, left us to be with her Lord and Savior. She was born to Francisco Garcia and Concepcion Manalo Garcia on March 29th, 1936 in the Philippines. Cora was an accomplished nurse, having earned her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing at the University of the Philippines. Her greatest joy was using her skills to help people and to give back to her friends, neighbors and community. She was a devout Catholic and loved worshiping with her FCJC family, Families in Christ Jesus Community, in Beaumont/Banning, CA. When she wasn’t working or volunteering, her absolute passion was to travel. She travelled all over the world and visited 6 continents, although, preferring North America, specifically California, as her home. She loved to cook and share her gift with her family and friends especially during the holidays. Cora is survived by her two children, son, Byron Williams, and her daughter, Coralyn Williams, as well as, her sister, Dolores Lunot and many cousins, nephews, and nieces that are all descendants of Francisco Garcia and Concepcion Manalo Garcia. ***The memorial service will be held Tuesday, 10/1/24 at 10:00AM - Saint Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church 157 W Nicolet St. Banning, CA 92220 W: http://www.stkateritekakwitha.org ***Directly to follow will be the inurnment at 1:30PM - Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery 3510 E Washington St. Colton, CA 92324 W: https://www.sbcatholiccemetery.org
