The story of
Our dear sibling, Cheryl Ann Maros, age 66, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 14, 2023, in Chandler, Arizona. She had confession with a Priest, received communion and then Last Rites prior to leaving us. We find comfort in knowing she is in heaven. She was born in Garden City, Michigan to Rita & George Maros, on June 10, 1957, but grew up in Louisville, KY. Cheryl spent many years in the veterinary field. Lastly as a veterinary pharmaceutical rep. She was very successful at anything she touched in this field. Cheryl was a kind and loving spirit to all things animals related. She spent time with the Scottsdale Jaycees raising money for those less fortunate. Ah, the costumes she would wear to the rodeo! Those who preceded Cheryl in death are father, George Maros, mother, Rita Higdon, step-parent, Joseph Higdon. She is survived by step-parent, Blake Maros, siblings, Laura Fitzsimmons (Keith), Paula Maros, John Maros, Brad Collins (Kathy), Kristy McAuliffe (Charles), Geoff Collins (Eileen), Scott Collins (Melanie). She was a proud aunt to Jordan Collins, Ben Johnson, Arielle Downing, Dylan Collins, Jayd Collins, Joey Collins, Alexandria Collins, Brianna Collins, Michael Collins, Shelby Maros, Jonathon Maros, Conner Maros, Andrew Fitzsimmons. And many more cousins, grand nephews, grand nieces, and last, but not least – her friends. No funeral service was Cheryl’s request; so, go out and raise a glass to a life well lived. Her family loved her very much. One can never forget the crazy Auntie Shoe!! Cheryl requested that donations in her memory be made to her favorite animal rescue, The Fetch Foundation, 33739 N. Scottsdale Rd, #101, Scottsdale, AZ 85266
