The story of
Carol Louise Kerby (Brooks) Born October 22, 1945 in Niagara Falls New York and entered into eternal rest September 17, 2024 in Tucson Arizona. She is proceeded in death by her Father Gordon Brooks, and Mother Marian Brooks. She is survived by her Son Joseph, Daughter Kelly, 2 grand children, and 1 great grand child. Sisters Gail Cully, Sue Bailey, and Brother Curt Brooks. Plus many many extended family all who loved and cherished her special spirit. Carol was a very social lady and would light up the room. She would get to know everyone. You could always be assured a good healthy laugh when you were around her. She dearly loved family and would always show a labor of love through her excellent cooking and baking. She loved to host large family gatherings particularly the big Thanksgiving feast. Carol was a very spiritual person and connected in many ways with her Savior, daily scripture and music were two of her favorites! I always enjoyed our visits and discussions about scripture! Mom loved Mount Lemmon and found peace there through life. At her request there will be no service or viewing. Carol touched the hearts of many, including me, her Son. Your memory will forever be etched upon my heart. I cared for her and gave her the best life I could in her latter years but could not do it alone so I would love to thank all the caregivers at both Haven of Tucson and Haven of Sahuaro Valley who gave top quality care to her over the past 8 years. It was a pleasure to work with you and I will miss getting to see you all regularly as I visited. Thanks also to Grace Hospice for the loving care given to her over the past 6 months and helping not only her but I as we negotiated this loving transition to eternal life. Enjoy your grand reunion, until we meet again.
