The story of Betty
The day that I wrote this, was already set in stone for I knew not when but then on June 2nd our beloved mother, Betty Cowlishaw was called on to return home. Betty was only 59 years old, but her story all began on a Monday in 1963. The 29th to be exact. Charles Edward Sutton and Sarah Elizabeth Coley of MT Olive, North Carolina welcomed a beautiful baby girl into this world. She later become my mom. After moving to Utah from North Carolina, Betty and my Dad Darrell Cowlishaw met and later married. They had 3 children. Darrell, Marchel and Misti. Betty enjoyed many things, most of all she enjoyed life, she lived in the moment, she had a rough life but she never complained she just took it on the chin and went about her business. Betty could be a tough cookie, but she always meant well and she always loved everyone, especially her grandchildren they were everything to her. Neveah, Malachi and Akayliah. she loved y'all so much. Betty is survived by her kids, Marchel Cowlishaw, his wife Katlyn, Darrell Cowlishaw, his wife Sadie and Misti Cowlishaw. her ex-husband Darrell Cowlishaw Sr, his Girlfriend Larielle Sorenson. Her mother in law Sharon Cowlishaw and her grandchildren Akayliah (Marchel's daughter) Neveah and Malachi (Darrell's daughter and son) and many many adopted children, grandchildren friends and family. Betty was preceded in death by her Father Charles Sutton and Mother Sarah Coley, her Father in law Kent Cowlishaw, her brother Charles Sutton Jr and her best friend Barbara, along with many other family members waiting at the gates. I Marchel Cowlishaw would also like to give a very special thanks to her ex-husband Darrell Cowlishaw and his Gf Larielle Sorenson for being there for her and making sure she was alright this last few years, I know it was hard at times and she wasn't always easy to deal with but I appreciate it, thank y'all. Funeral services are still being figured out I will let you all know at a later date. I love you mama until we meet again I know you'll walk beside me.
