Betty was an advocate for all animals. As a young girl, Betty would often sneak the cattle dog into her bed on cold Wisconsin winter nights against the wishes of her parents. As an adult, for decades she made stops every evening, called them her "Critter Runs", at times feeding 50 or more strays and ferals and providing shelter for them when the weather was cold. She had a strong work ethic and worked until she was in her 80s. Betty loved her children and her animals with her whole heart.
Betty passed peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her daughter Cathleen, her son William, daughter in law Loni & her dog and 2 cats. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Rumor has it she has new employment as the "Guardian of the Rainbow Bridge"
