Anthony (Tony) E. Heard, Sr., aged 65, of Rainier, Washington passed away on March 28, 2024. He was born on August 28, 1958, in Monterey, California to Harold and Kiyoko Heard. Tony was a retired Marine Corps NCO who devoted his entire adult life to serving his country and family. He was a devoted family man who took pride in taking care of his family, home, and property. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews and was often found working on a project with them in the yard or pasture. Tony is survived by his wife, Elizabeth R. Heard, whom he married in 1984, and their two children, Lisa M. Nunez and Anthony E. Heard, Jr. He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren and his siblings Charlie Heard, Russell Heard, and Lisa O'Kelly. A celebration of life and memorial service will be held on April 20th, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the American Legion Post 164, located at 16733 103rd Ave SE, Yelm, WA 98597.
