Theodora "Teddy" Cruz went home to be with the Lord on September 18, 2022, at the age of 100. Teddy passed away peacefully at a nursing facility in Westminster Co. She was born in Blacklake, NM to Louis and Drucilla Martinez on November 5, 1921. Teddy loved her children and when she went home to be with the lord, she knew that someday she will reunite with all of them in Heaven. Teddy is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Drucilla Martinez, numerous brothers and sisters, Her husband J Fred Cruz Sr, Daughters Catherine Meyer, Teresa Dolores Cruz, and son Louis Cruz. She is survived by her brother Alonzo Martinez from Taos NM, Children: Daughter Hazel Carroll, Son Jabez Cruz, Son Carl E Cruz, Daughter Anna Howard, Daughter Cynthia Marshall, Son Fred Cruz Jr, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
