The story of Ted
Ted Butcher (Torr ), age 56, West Valley City, Utah, passed away unexpectedly on June 5, 2023, in a motorcycle accident. Ted was born on June 4, 1967, to Ted & Kathy Butcher. He married Gina Hardy Druce, later divorced, and together they had their beautiful daughter, Cassidy, she was his pride and joy. Ted worked in the Stucco Business for many years, as well as a Steel Worker/Welder for many years. At the time of his passing he was employed by Tributary Staffing/Affiliated Metals, he loved his job and his co-workers. He was a great Son, Dad, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, and Friend to many, he will be deeply missed by all. Ted had several hobbies, which included, in earlier years, hunting and fishing with his Dad, creating art out of metal, music, and collecting wooden masks. Survived by his daughter Cassidy (Tyson) White and his two beautiful granddaughters, Hadley and Brakell; Mother, Kathy; Brothers, Glade and Lonnie (Sunday); Sister, Terrie. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his Dad and many other family members. Ted will be missed by everyone who knew him, especially for his wit, sense of humor, and charm. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 22nd, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Magna Regional Park, located at 4042 S 7200 W, Magna, Utah 84044, where family and friends may join.
