The story of
Patrick Fox passed away peacefully on July 26, 2024, after a brief battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family. Patrick's life was defined by love, service, and adventure. He met his soulmate, Helga, while serving in the US Air Force at Ramstein, Germany. Their enduring love led them to Southeast Michigan, where they built a life together, raising their daughters and creating countless memories until Patrick's retirement from Detroit Edison in 2000. After retiring, Patrick and Helga traveled out West to Montana, but soon grew restless and driven by their desire for new experiences and creating memories, they eagerly sought to explore the States further. An avid outdoorsman, Patrick found joy in hunting, fishing, golfing, and traveling with Helga. He cherished every moment spent in nature and with his family and friends. Patrick is survived by his devoted daughters, Leslie (Jason) Bremner and Dawn (Paul) Dixon; his beloved grandchildren, Klaus (Sydney) Geistert and Khristiyana (Miles) Dixon; his sister, Anne Schultz; and numerous nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years, Helga, who passed away just two days before him. Patrick was also preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Marie Fox; his sister, Peggy Fox; and his brother and best friend, Dennis Fox. Patrick was known for his unwavering dedication to his family and his service to his country. His life was a testament to strength, love, and commitment, qualities that will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
