The story of
Otto Herman Hass Jr., born January 26th, 1924, was called home to be with the Lord on November 30th, 2023, in Surprise, Arizona. There to greet him were his beloved wife Betty, son Richard, and granddaughter Lynn Marie. Otto is survived by his daughter Barbara (John) Kmett, granddaughter Amy (Scott) Wadlington and her stepson Trevor (Alison) Wadlington and their children Margot, Lany, and Lincoln and stepdaughter Carrie (Dan) Ingram, granddaughter Nicole (Jim) Guilfoyle and their sons Tommy and Ryan, granddaughter Beth (Kerry) Goettsch and their daughters Natalie, Caroline and Charlotte, and granddaughter Becky (Jason) Hall and their son Richard and daughter Rosie. Upon retirement, Otto had received esteemed recognition and proudly displayed a plaque commemorating his 35 years of loyal and faithful service to Kraft Foods. Otto will best be remembered as having a gregarious and fun- loving personality. He greatly enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling with his wife Betty, attending church, playing golf and cards, bowling, and watching his favorite baseball team, the Cubs. A public Memorial service will be held at Crown of Life Lutheran Church in Sun City West, Arizona on December 18th, 2023, at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers, please direct any donations to the American Cancer Society. Thank you kindly.
