The story of
White, Marilyn Kay 72 March 8, 1951 - September 18, 2023 Marilyn Kay White, a loving, caring, and nurturing wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away at home in Windsor, Colorado on September 18, 2023. She was 72 years old. Marilyn was born March 8th, 1951, in La Junta, Colorado and the middle child of Lavern and DeEtta Winfrey. You could normally find Marilyn hunting or fishing with her husband Roy or spending time with her 8 grandchildren. Marilyn was unlike anyone else, her loving heart coupled with her fierce love for her family and friends made Marilyn hold a special place in everyone's heart. She graduated from Greeley Central High School in 1969, then taking her education even further, she graduated from Aims Community college with her Associates Degree in Business. Marilyn worked for State Farm for 42 years where she spent a majority of her career. Marilyn was a breast cancer survivor of 24 years, only further proving how resilient she truly was. Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents Lavern and DeEtta and husband Roy. She is survived by her sisters Janetta (Randy) Gustafson and Leila Winfrey, as well as her children James (Heidi) White and Kattye (Ryan) Sutton. In addition, Marilyn is survived by 8 grandchildren, Zach Duffield, Mackenzie Duffield, Aspyn White, Tyler White, McKayLynn Humes, Isabella Humes, Aric Sutton, Aden Sutton and 6 great grandchildren Kooper, Remington, Summer, Charles, Freya, and Xadrian. A celebration of her life will be held at Sherwood Park Baptist Church, 3333 W 16th St, Greeley CO 80634 on Saturday October 7 2023 at 11AM.
