Early in the morning of Thursday the 30th of November 2023, Marvin lost his 4 year battle with Colon Cancer.
Marvin was Born to Marvin James & Virginia Lucille Bentley on the 13th of April 1963, at Harborview Hospital in Seattle Washington.
Marvin worked as a laborer with the Seattle Housing Authority from 1983 to 2001.
He later joined Seattle Parks & Recreation as a laborer where he learned to be a baseball / soccor & football field technician. Which he enjoyed immensely.
Marvin has been an avid Star Wars fan from day one, and was an avid collector of memorabilia, including helmets and action figures.
Marvin also enjoyed music from every genre, his favorite being Rock such as Ozzy & Judas Priest.
Marvin is proceeded in death by his Father Marvin James Bentley of Seattle. His Mother Virginia Lucille Bentley of Auburn, and Sister Roseanne Dolan of Silverdale.
Marvin is survived by his wife and life partner of 39 years Lesa Bentley of Auburn, daughter Siobhon of Auburn, daughter Salena of Milton, brother James Bentley of Renton, and sister Robin Bentley-Mackey of Covington.
He is also survived by his Nephew James, Niece Dawn Marie, and his other Nephew Ryan Bentley.
2 great-nephews, 2 great-nieces, adopted daughter Sophia Ehle of Spanaway, Son-in-Law Randy Ehle and granddaughter Evangalina.
Celebration of Life is to follow at a later date.
The family asks in lieu of flowers, donations in Marvin's name be made to The Colorectal Cancer Alliance, or the American Cancer Society, Support Colon Cancer.
