It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Marilyn Elaine Dishroon, who left us unexpectedly at the age of 65 on Monday, August 12, 2024, following a sudden illness. Marilyn's departure has left a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Marilyn was a cherished sister and friend, remembered for her sweet and kind nature. She lived her life with a warmth and generosity that touched everyone she encountered. Marilyn was born in Roswell, New Mexico, she moved to Chandler, Arizona in 1966 with her family and she resided in Tempe, Arizona when she passed, Marilyn's presence was a constant source of joy and comfort to her family and friends. She is survived by her beloved siblings, her sister, Janet Love and brother, David Dishroon. Her bond with her family was a source of strength and happiness for her, and she leaves behind treasured cherished memories. Marilyn's sweet nature extended to family and all who had the privilege of knowing her gentle spirit, she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A celebration of Marilyn’s life will be held in a private ceremony with her family at a later date, no details will be provided. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Marilyn’s memory National Alliance on Mental Illness  in honor of her legacy of generosity and to bring awareness of individuals and families affected by mental illness. Marilyn Dishroon will be remembered with love and her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched as she rests in peace.
