Kathy Ann Steed Wilson, at the age of 71, lost her battle with cancer on December 30, 2022, at home surrounded by her family.
Kathy was born November 28, 1951, in Galesburg, IL to Carlos and Donna (Hopson) Steed. She and her family relocated to Utah in her teenage years. Kathy was blessed with three children: Craig, Audree, and Annie.
Kathy married Ray Wilson on December 4th, 1981. They met through mutual acquaintances. They lived in Kearns, Utah until 2000, when they decided to travel for work and ultimately retired in Yuma, AZ. When she was diagnosed with cancer in 2020, they moved back to Utah for treatment and to be with family.
Kathy is survived by her husband Ray Wilson, children Craig (Lynne) Wilson, Audree (Sean) Andersen, Andrea (Neal) Latz, 6 grandchildren (Brett, Brittany, CJ, Austin, Jaron, and Landon), great-grandchild (Logan), and two sisters, Carol Salee and Cindy Cunliffe.
A celebration of life for Kathy is on Saturday, January 14th, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Mountain View Christian Assembly located at 300 East 8000 South Sandy, Utah 84070. A short program will begin at 2:15 pm, followed by a light lunch. Per Kathy's request, please wear your favorite color.
